A mile down the road from the Outer Banks Motel’s main site, and directly in the heart of Buxton village, we have more than a dozen cottages for you to choose from. If you have a large group and need more space than a motel room, some of these cottages are great choices. We have one-, two- and three-bedroom options, some that are efficiencies, some with full kitchens and living rooms and some standard rooms. Several are located right on the canal where you might want to fish, kayak or go exploring on a standup paddleboard. These cottages bring you privacy and a touch of Hatteras Island history. Guests of our Village Cottages enjoy all the amenities at the Outer Banks Motel including the saltwater pool, hot tub, a library with books and puzzles, fish-cleaning station, free WiFi at the motel lobby and a coin laundry.
